Leonardo is a graduate of Biology at the University of Guayaquil, where he was an assistant professor of genetics and evolution. He was part of the research mission BAE Orion of the National Navy of Ecuador to monitor marine biodiversity from the mainland to the Galapagos Islands, In the Ministry of Environment he giving environmental education conferences in the Abras de Mantequilla Wetlands Reserve, He completed a Master's degree in Management of Bio-Aquatic Resources and Environment, complementing courses at the Espol University of Ecuador to combat illegal unregulated fishing in the Pacific region. Leonardo is very passionate about the conservation of species in the natural environment, epidemiological surveillance and continuous improvement for the environmental zoning of niches in protected areas.
